Deleted my Plaxo account. Irrational?

Plaxo users worried about privacy in wake of Comcast buyout

So am i really being irrational?

After reading all the blogs i would say i’m taking a better safe than sorry approach.

How much do i actually need the plaxo service?

I actually don’t use it that much. It’s been more of an annoyance than anything else. I am also guilty of accidently spamming my whole address book & getting them to join.

Of course my data won’t disappear for the Plaxo servers overnight & does exist in backup somewhere, but for some reason i feel lightened today :)
